Kyan Pirouz
President & Creative Director
Continuing the veil-making legacy of his mother Homa Barghi, regarded as one of the most influential bridal accessories designers, Kyan Pirouz began his training in bridal wear at the age of 23 under his family’s tutelage. A graduate of New York University, Pirouz early in his career immersed himself in learning the art of cutting fabric to develop a delicate, sophisticated and timeless pattern. He has acquired a vast knowledge of textiles and techniques while constructing veil assignments for exclusive boutiques and clientele internationally.
In 2014, Pirouz introduced his first collection as Creative Director of Homa Bridal. Since assuming this role, he continues to grow the collection and has established partnerships with upscale New York and Moscow department stores Bergdorf Goodman and TSUM.
Homa Barghi
Founder
Raised in a family of talented artisans in Iran, Homa Barghi was surrounded by design from a young age. After completing her studies in the United Kingdom, Barghi returned to the Middle East to begin a career in graphic design and later brought her creativity to the United States. Her passion for fashion and art inspired her to begin custom-making bridal accessories in her home outside New York.
Barghi launched her collection in 1987 and began selling at Barney’s and Kleinfeld. Her delicate and meticulous design work, together with the application of high-quality textiles, cultivated a distinctive style. As the collection developed, it later became available in Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus along with gaining press attention in the United States and abroad.
Today, the collection is available in points of sale around the world including in New York, Los Angeles, London, Moscow and Tokyo.
