about_homa2

Fine art and design have always influenced Homa Pirouz’s life. A native of Iran, Homa was raised in a creative family where exposure to art was encouraged and supported. At age 14, she had the opportunity to travel to Paris and view her uncle’s Persian miniature painting exhibit at the renowned Musée du Louvre. A few years later, Homa returned to Europe to pursue her own creative endeavors at the Royal College of Art in London. Homa’s artistic roots inspired her to begin custom-making bridal accessories in her home outside of New York City in 1987, integrating classic elegance with magnificent textiles and the oldest traditions of couture craftsmanship.
